Title Screen of a game with a shadowy cartoon style. Title: Agent Higgs 2: Escape from the Standard Model. Underneath is a scene of a red H wearing groucho-marx glasses hiding among some wooden crates and particles. The particles shown are proton, electron, and muon, all drawn as colorful tiles with letters. Along the left are several UI buttons drawn as file folders: Play, Editor, and About
Cartoony scene of a tall billboard shown outside among grassy hills. There's a happy blue character wearing a red jester's hat, holding out their arms forming a rainbow filled with particles: electron, muon, tau, proton, neutron. The top says: Welcome to the Wonderful World of Particle Physics. The bottom says: Now including the Higgs Boson. The area that would show the Higgs boson is mysteriously missing. The mysterious dark figure in a hat is nearby on a ladder, holding a roll of paper.
Screenshot of a level in the game, titled Electric-8. It's grid-based, with a white floor and wooden tiles forming walls. There are two protons and an electron, with a photon pulling on an electron and proton. Agent Higgs is a tile at the bottom of the level. A mysterious figure wearing a hat is near the top, saying: "The scientists caught you last time... ...but with my help you'll never get trapped again!"

Would it help if I made this into a pdf as well, instead of just the blog post?
(I think I've actually answered my own question there...!)
Please do and also have a look at the main project page, there are free downloads of interactives, publications, and game-like explorations of how we attempted to represent this bit of history through a decolonial lens... (Imperfectly!)

Hopefully useful.
It is yours! I'll change the wording, I got it mixed up with an actual tea towel from a different project! :-)
It took me all day, but I've synthesised all of the resources we used on the Decolonising the British Empire Exhibition of 1938 through Augmented Reality Narratives research project.

This is such a good article for anyone working in conservation.
One thing overlooked imo is how the size of organizations play a role, with people in small NGOs working twice as much for twice as less with little protections. First hand experience here ๐

A great range of games!
Back in 2018 I went on a hunt and could only find 1 lab based research game so this an excellent curated list.
Can I put you in touch with the project lead? (My role was in supporting the #SeriousGame design whereas she is the expert in Humanitarian Law etc.)

The comments by Jim Ratcliffe are not only offensive and harmful but blatantly incorrect, and will stir further hate and division. Working with organisations such as Show Racism the Red Card, Migrant Voice has โ as part of the -"Migration. Making Britain Great" campaign -highlighted that the diversity of the Premier League, and migrants playing in it, is a strength that is reflected in Britain's communities. Immigration doesn't undermine a country's character; it enhances it. British culture, including football, is based on migration, on adapting and evolving to new ideas. That is something to be celebrated, not condemned. Nazek Ramadan Director, Migrant Voice
Our Director, Nazek Ramadan, speaks out about Jim Ratcliffe's racist and divisive comments.

Excited to share a new op-ed @insidehighered.com on autism and academic hiring. I argue that sociability and hireability arenโt the same thing, and that universities can take concrete steps to make hiring fairer for autistic scholars.
