Brilliant adventure to Spurn Point, Yorkshire's land's end, where the North Sea meets the Humber Estuary. Spurn Lighthouse is a huge part of Spurn's history. Many lives have been saved since becoming operational in 1852 & currently after it ceased being actively manned in 1985
This group of dunlin were edging closer and closer up the beach as the tide pushed the waves further and further in. It was so cute watching some of them hopping around on one leg as the waves interrupted their rest and then seeing them bury their heads into their feathers again
