3 story charming Tudor Lego set with people socializing outside and giant ducks on the roof.
The chimney sweeper is trying to get giant momma and baby ducks off the roof.
On the street, friends are having dinner under the balcony while a man carries a giant baby duck in his bike’s basket.
Along the side, a man approaches a cat by the dumpster while a pirate arms itself on a balcony.
Good #Lego set. Small neighborhood square with small neighborhood problems.

A small set of patches (and information) to improve the Deadly Towers NES experience - refractionpcsx2/DeadlyTowersEnhanced
I have just released some patches for the NES game Deadly Towers to make the experience a little more palatable, One just speeds up transitions and stops repeated music tracks restarting, the other adds no knockback and iframes on room entry. Enjoy! #NES #DeadlyTowers

Mechanical watch with a blue face on the perimeter, watch mechanism exposed in the center. Roman numerals, black watch band.
My watch, surrounded by a collection of tools, including a loupe, tweezers, hand-setting tools, and a back removal tool.
Decided it was time to build a new mechanical watch. I was careful to watch my steps, tick each box. Thought I messed up for a second, but in the end I had to hand it to myself… it wound up looking pretty good!

Did a little coloring while watching @hungrygoriya.bsky.social's stream last night showcasing SNES Maps volume 2 by @retrogamebooks.com. The coloring book is a lot of fun 🙂 Takes me back to childhood.

We're getting all our ducks in a row for a major release of Review Board that will be the backbone for all the new things to come (including #AI features that put humans first).

So happy to land #Jujutsu support in RBTools. This will work with existing #Git repositories in Review Board, giving users a choice as to how they want to get their work done locally.

Here is one of the dumbest things about vibe coding that I don't see a lot of people talking about
Imagine you're an open source maintainer and someone opens up a pull request against your repository that they vibe coded. They may or may not tell you they vibe coded it; it doesn't really matter… 🧵

After about 2 weeks of mostly being in bed with no energy thanks to #COVID, I finally had my first negative test. Feeling so much better than I did two days ago.
Back to getting the next major version of @reviewboard.org ready to release.

Commodore PET on the counter at a restaurant. Also, baked potatoes are back.
It’s good seeing restaurants begin to computerize. I really think it’s the future.

A collection of 4 water ring toss games from Tomy from the 1990s: "Kittens", "Kellogg's Frosties", a blue "Pocket Waterfuls", and an orange "Pocket Waterfuls."
If we're gonna get a watercooled iPhone, the least they could do is stick one of these on the back.
Actually, hold on. I have a case idea.

Using pprint.saferepr() for string comparisons in Python
Python’s pprint.saferepr() can be a useful way of comparing string representations of dictionaries and other data types.
#Python Tip: pprint.saferepr() can be used to help compare string representations of dictionaries in unit tests. Useful when asserting debug logs containing dictionary data.

We've long supported putting any kind of file in Review Board, and are working to greatly expand the types of files we can render and diff for you — including in the diff viewer!
Support for reviewing Office documents natively is coming very soon.

#TIL that #vim has a built-in debugger, where you can set breakpoints, get backtraces, and more for your vim configuration and plugins.
Using this to figure out why a random plain Python string in a file I'm not even opening is breaking my tabstop width.

Just purely the python-cryptography library, having it generate a new key. It’s fine, I’ve redone it all now with better control for future tests so future me won’t be so annoyed with current me.

I need to figure out the elliptical curve points on a series of ephemeral ECDSA private keys I used in unit test data so I don't have to regenerate the payloads. Anyone have a 5000-qubit quantum computer I can borrow?

What If()? Using Conditional CSS Variables
Using conditional CSS Variables to make it easier to style your site for light mode, dark mode, and more.
If()-based conditional styling is coming to #CSS, but you can already do this today with CSS Variables.
We use it to more easily support light mode, dark mode, high-contrast mode, and component states.
Here's how it works.

A nice little release that brings some requested #SAML improvements. Review Board does NOT charge a SSO Tax, because security is too important for that.
We've been a bit quiet lately as we've worked toward the next major Review Board release, which we're starting to wrap up now.
