Rosalind wasn't buying it but Steven looked nervous.
So she wouldn't press at that moment.
"Don't be sorry. I was born this way. I like it."
She offered a bit of a smile to him.
"I don't mean to pry. I was merely curious."

"Kind of. It's more like a second sight. I was born blind so all I see is the energy of all living things. Magic stuff."
Rosalind grinned at Remy.
She was enjoying this interaction and wanted it to continue.
"How about I buy you dinner and drinks? As payment."
Rosalind nodded in satisfaction and grabbed her cane.
She found Bucky's arm and linked her arm with his.
"Let's be off then."
"You seem like a worrier and I can't have you having an aneurysm from worrying. You're coming with me."
Rosalind smirked as she slipped on her flats and came over to him.
"I'm going to need someone to read the menu for me. I can have my phone do it but I hate that AI voice. Creeps me out."
"You were very entertaining good sir."
Rosalind grinned as she took in the sight of his bright energy.
"The energy of some of you non-creatures is very intriguing."
Rosalind walked closer and gently poked him with her cane.
"You have the aura of three people. Care to explain?"
Rosalind bit back a laugh as she watched Remy take out the ruffians.
When he was done she came over to thank him.
"Woah. There's a lot going on here."
His energy is all over the place. No. It's the energy of like three people. Not just one.

The criminals scoffed at Remy and said something dumb as they tried to attack him.
Rosalind didn't run off. She wanted to see how this was going to play out.
Remy's energy intrigued her.
She's alone in an abandoned warehouse letting loose with her magic.
Rosalind took her time getting dressed.
Once she was finished she pulled back the curtain.
"So, Mr. Barnes, I assume you're going to be coming with me?"
There was annoyance in her tone and in her expression.

Some dunderheads had decided it would be a good idea to try to mug a blind witch.
They were only human, so she had to pretend to be a poor, helpless, blind woman.
Sensing someone nearby Rosalind called out for help as the ruffians were accosting her.

Rosalind was glaring at him.
"My clothes please. I'm leaving. You can follow me if you're that worried."
She wasn't going to stay there any longer than she had to.
She could rest at her apartment just as easily.
Rosalind chuckled softly but there was no humour in it.
"No one would miss me. I can promise you that."
Her own kind had tried to kill her so she knew the score.
A moment later she swung her legs over the edge of the hospital bed as she began pulling out the IV needle they'd put in her arm.
The look on Rosalind's face said that she didn't know who those people were at all.
She was sitting up fully as she prepared to stand and leave the hospital.
"I'm going back to my apartment. I'd rather rest there."
Rosalind bristled when Bucky mentioned talking to a doctor.
"A human doctor can't help. I used too much of my magic. I just need rest."
She took the cup of water and drank from it a bit.
"You. . . .You found me?"
Rosalind's voice was hoarse from disuse as she sat up a bit in her hospital bed.
She could tell he wasn't a witch but he definitely wasn't an ordinary human either.
She was as quiet as she contemplated whether she should tell him her name or not.
Being blind meant that she perceived the world differently from most people.
She could tell that someone was sitting at her bedside when she woke up. She just couldn't see the features; she only saw their energy.
"Hello? Who's there?"
She could tell by the smell that she was in a hospital.

This was what happened when one used too much magic all at once.
It left Rosalind weak and vulnerable.
She wouldn't wake until three days after Bucky had brought her to the hospital.

The doctors were stumped as to Rosalind's condition and the only thing they could do was give her saline for hydration and a cocktail of vitamins.
There were no noticeable wounds of any kind.
She was just unconscious and unresponsive.

Bucky was the first person to actually stop and help Rosalind.
Not that she wanted help. If she been conscious she have told him to piss off.
She was alive but just barely.
Her skin was normally pale it seemed to be almost white.
Her pulse was weak and she was barely breathing.
Rosalind is in a bad way.
Making it back to her apartment isn't in the cards for her.
She just going to take a 'nap' on the pavement.
She's keeping it simple as she missed #SeductiveSunday so she's posting this because she can. โค๏ธ

Rosalind quirked up an eyebrow as she looked at Jax.
"Alright, Jaxon. Speak quickly and truthfully."
"Okay! I've severed the link! I'm going to pull it out of the doll. No matter what you see Barry. . . . Do. Not. Touch me.
Understand?"
