Scene where Ardbert offers the WoL help in the fight against Hades.
I had this pop-up in my memories from today. Apparently years ago today I was treated to one of the best cutscenes Iβve ever experienced. IYKYK #FFXIV

Iβm equally torn between wanting to laugh and wanting yell about this post π€£π‘
I misread βwormβ as βwomanβ and I was REALLY close to actually freaking out about it.
Man do I have THOUGHTS about the State of Azeroth update today. I'm kind of out on a limb here, but I think it's a pretty comfy limb.
Since Legion Remix will be ending with the Midnight pre-patch on Monday, itβs a good time to look at what worked and what hasnβt in the second Remix installment.
On the other hand, robbing the rich to feed the poor is exactly whatβs needed here.
@worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com I love this year's Winter's Veil gift, but I'm sorely disappointed I can't roll around on the snowball in bear form. This is a huge oversight. Just think about how hilarious a giant bear rolling around on a snowball would be!

""My mom can no longer keep Angelo (alas!!!) and we are looking to rehome him. Angelo is a total sweetheart. He is 6 years old, gentle, playful, friendly, and a lovebug."
This week, I took a look back at some of the highlights from the last year. In doing so, I realized that even the content I wasn't a huge fan of was still really good. TWW has been an incredibly solid expansion all the way around.
No lie, one of my favorite perks of being a bartender was free access to the maraschino cherries π€£

Header text: "HEY YOU! YES YOU! TAKE THIS SHIT OUT OF LINKS!" This is followed by a couple example urls, with a red square highlighting the sections with source identifiers. The rest of the text is as follows: Source identifiers are used to track your activity on a site. Where you came from, what device you use, and even who you talk to. Whether it's written clearly in the url or tied to a random string of characters, it's assigned to your activity. When you send a link containing a source identifier to somebody and they click it, it signals to the website that you two are connected. And that data goes right back to the website operators, and thus their advertisers. Whenever you select "share" or "copy link" on a social app or website, it creates a link like this. If you give even the smallest shit about online privacy, it's important to remove them. Everything after the "?" symbol can be removed without issue, especially sections starting with "si=" or "utm_source="
I saw an infographic a couple years ago about how to remove source identifiers from links and why it's important, but I can't find it again and too many people I know are sending me links with them so here's an infographic straight from the oven

This article sums up the uneasy feeling I've had since PAX East. The industry I've known my entire career is gone. I don't know what's coming next, but I can't pretend that things will ever return to what they were

Someday people will reach the point where βI didnβt like it but others didβ is valid. Someday.
Are people saying it wasnβt?

Now that January is done, here is where we're at with known games industry layoffs. We know of layoffs at 24 workplaces this month impacting at least 640 employees. While that's a tenth of last January's headcount, it doesn't look like a general slowdown. We're still FAR from pre-2022 numbers
