Draft night, I figured most of Hugo's highlights would come in Maine this year.
But vs the number one defense in the NBA there were moments he looked like the best defender on the floor.

Gotta be the Nuggets (health) and Celtics (Tatum), right?
I thought this might happen as well. One thing that really worked last year was the JT, Hauser, Kornet bench unit. Luke/JT PNR, Hauser in the corner.... Luke became really good in the short-roll.
It sucks that Vuc got hurt right as JT came back - I think Joe would give that trio a test drive
Agreed - flip side, seeing the young wings play well in these type of games is hugely positive. It's one thing to look good vs a tanking team, but they went toe-to-toe with top talent.
Yep. And who knows - maybe it becomes a "I'm-a-make-them-both" moment.
The Nuggets won that - wow. Will need to watch that 4th qtr.... tomorrow.
Yeah - you lose that challenge and basically the game is over
How many timeouts did we have left?
It pulled Chet away from the rim when they tied the game - but it did have a cost on the other end, indeed
Celtics only 6 assists in the 2nd half.... Gotta move the ball
Smart challenge
was just thinking same thing
I've always said that you are consistent
Great position. Just win the 4th....
Garza matching the Chet minutes was not what I expected. Side note, keeping Garza off the offensive glass might be a top 5 worst job in the NBA
Celtics scramble defense is on a string
he's pretty high up that list
Considering the circumstances of the past two games, I think there's an incredible amount of positive to take out of both, no matter how this game finishes.
SGA leads the NBA in 3rd qtr points. He'll be aggressive.
The Celtics will need to prepare for a more aggressive OKC defense - and just expect the whitles to get swallowed
Celtics at halftime
14 assists
5 TOs
Thats the right ratio...
PP last second theatrics is in his DNA, indeed
"Never tell me the odds"
-the Celtics stay-ready crew
Unleash the Hugo
Good early Celtics defense.
βHospital Celticsβ version of the Boston Celtics logoβa leprechaun with bandages and an eye patch spins a basketball on its index finger while leaning on a crutch.
C us rise. βοΈ
Another good opportunity for the young Celtics to try to make Joe smile.
I figured someday there will be a full streaming bundle - but now, who knows...
NBA leading scorers by qtrs:
1st qtr - Luka DonΔiΔ 614
2nd qtr - Kawhi Leonard 425
3rd qtr - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 621
4th qtr - Donovan Mitchell 449
OTs - Tyrese Maxey 38
I really can't believe blackouts are still a thing, and that it wasn't addressed in the new media deals.
