I've lived alone for ~40 years, all told, and with my partner for the last 3.5 years.
Today I did errands alone due to [reasons] and, holy cow, did that ever feel weird and anxiety-inducing!
I guess this means I'm officially institutionalized.
And I'm quite alright with that, TBH.
First time out in a few months driving the Smart car.
I got to wave at another Smart going in the opposite direction, and the driver smiled and WOVE BACK!!
