One Japanese one English, I do this with every NSO app to get the exclusive content (for example I just used the Japanese GBA app to play the e-reader levels in Mario vs DK)
Uhhhh fuck idk I'm bad with naming characters ๐ฅ
Oh ok uhh guess I'll see what's got everyone so excited about this Pokey Mans series
Obviously it's way more complicated than "Final Horizons' difficulty isn't REAL difficulty" given these are my second impressions and I've had time to learn everything. But I think this'll be a good jumping off point to base my video on when I get around to the DLC section of the script
Same thing with ascending the towers but in that case you still have your full moveset so you can abuse parry and dodge to give yourself infinite time to land on a solid platform if you fall off. So if it's still exploitable like base Frontiers then what does denying the player checkpoints change?
For example: clearing the first three titans with a nerfed parry that only has a four-frame window is hard in its own right. But completely gutting the player's levelling up progress and making the timer so strict that there's no room for error isn't a fair or meaningful difficulty spike
Very conflicted about the Frontiers DLC after revisiting it for the first time in three years. I went in expecting to get my ass kicked, but somehow it was even more disappointing to realize the new content isn't even that hard, they just create loads of friction to give the illusion of a challenge
Fuck it, if I get picked I'll finally beat a Pokemon game
Mike's got the nastiest dirt on someone at Sega that's gotta be it
Fym Sega recast Infinite before Rouge or Eggman ๐ฅ
On your journey, you might see Bowser Jr. popping up in habitats! What could he be up to...?
I wonder if there's any significance to Baby Bowser being replaced by Bowser Jr. in Yoshi and the Mysterious Book
Obviously that means we're getting a different final boss, but will the game taking place in the present rather than the past affect the plot at all?
Oh I guess we're finally seeing that variable pricing lol
I don't care if Rosalina is a big fat elephant bbw now, I'm still not simping for her
Seems to me like they want Yoshi to do well with the younger audience, and know that parents are less willing to spend the big bucks on video games
However Japan's pricing isn't as consistent as American and Canadian pricing so I doubt we see this discount in the West
Naming the creatures the dumbest shit then cross referencing the Mario Wiki to see how off I was is gonna be so fun
Well Yoshi's Island was the first game in the series, and a direct sequel to Super Mario World, so Yoshi not yet having a standalone series probably affected how Nintendo wanted to position the character at the time
As for Yoshi's Story I haven't played it so I'll take you at your word
Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't Yoshi pretty much always been aimed at a younger audience? In my eyes Mario is the family franchise and Yoshi's the franchise for specifically children so I'm not really surprised or disappointed with how the Mysterious Storybook is turning out
The hour before Super Mario Titans
"Its name is Glubbit" erm actually it's Glup Shitto?
Really digging Yoshi and the Mysterious Storybook now after that Nintendo Today trailer, the new mechanic of researching and naming creatures seems like a perfect fit for the slow, mellow nature of Yoshi platformers
Tenor has finally begun their content reviews for my account btw, you can use these by typing "Meetup in Bellabel Park" in the Bluesky gif seach bar
Day 10 of editing random gifs to be Super Mario Bros. Wonder themed until Meetup in Bellabel Park releases
(Mario Day edition)
Another oneโ
Kinda surprised at how easy these were (besides level 2, it was pretty tricky and I'm pretty sure my solution wasn't the intended way)
Would be even funnier if they released a Switch 2 Edition to rectify the lack of content and it still ended up being worse than Resort somehow
"So, what did you think of the latest trailer for The Super Mario Titans Movie? Chris-san and I worked hard to capture the heroic and cinematic essence of Mario's various Titan transformations on the big screen. We're also excited to share that Idris Elba will be the voice of Super Chud Koopa!"
We're so back
The thing is Super Mario Galaxy is still a Mario game with Mario storytelling (i.e. the characters don't have anything interesting to do except in the opening and ending and the optional storybook pages) so 90 minutes of just the story of that game could've really benefited that game's characters
Where am I supposed to find an 8-digit confirmation code to enter into gatewaygalaxy.com?
I bought my tickets from Cinemark and the confirmation email shows a 13-digit confirmation ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ณ
