Reece trundling back like Jan Molby
Fofana clearly not giving a feck

Jorgensen injured?
Helpful little swerve for Rosenior
I wonder if theyβll go back in for Maignan in the summer. Heβs 30 so has a fair few years ahead. Allows Penders another year on loan, perhaps in the Championship, and then a Cech v Courtois shoot out in 27-28 whilst Maignan still has resale value if Penders wins
This is the trouble. Does that mean Penders (totally unproven) goes on loan again next year and we make do with Sanchez or Jorgenson or some other interim solution (Vicario anyone?) for another year?
This is not a serious club
Maybe heβll be the Good Joao Felix next time
Please god no
The King over the water
Once youβve seen Cech and Courtois (but especially Cech - Courtoisβ best times have been at Real Madrid) you are totally spoilt but I donβt ever consider Kepa as having been good enough for Chelsea
Mendy was very good for a season (and what a season) but unfairly cast aside too soon
Yes I agree. A great prospect who we messed up.
Yeah him and Sarri got on famously
Harsh but an element of truth
What he could do was control the flow & pace of the game. I remember him doing it away at Watford I think when we were losing control. He just slowed things down & re-established control
His best example was the Euros final when he stopped England getting any control
OK, I've just read the notes from the meeting between a club rep and some fans, and I can't stop laughing. We are not a serious football club on any level. π
Here for anybody who wants to have a read - notaprojectcfc.com/blog/
As for Jorginho, I canβt believe that you picked him. I thought he was great and the best thing Sarri ever did for the club
I agree that Lukaku is in the top 3 (along with Papy Djibodji) but Kepa seemed to poison the good goalkeeping well to this very day apart from the Mendy interlude. Even then, no one at the club can bring themselves to admit that our goalkeepers are shit and that we genuinely need good goalkeepers
I genuinely believe that the signing of Kepa was both the worst and the most consequential transfer by Chelsea in the 21st century
Kepa was the panic buy after we missed out on Alisson
Absolutely!
Good example being the signing of Donnarumma, aka the best goalkeeper in the world, even though he canβt play out from the back
In the debate about Roseniorβs dreadful screw up about Chelseaβs keepers not enough respect is being given to Edouard Mendy
Mendy was an integral part in winning the Championsβ League & was the best GK in Europe that season
He was cast aside in a essentially racist manner being deemed lower worth
My theory is that it is all Kepaβs fault.
He was such a catastrophic, franchise-destroying purchase (excuse the Americanism) that the club collectively thought βthese GKs are always a waste of money. We will never spend big on GKs again. Any old GK will doβ
I wish that had happened to me when I ordered andouillette in Brittany: one of the most disgusting things I have ever eaten
#ArseandLips
Alonso, Nagelsmann, Xavi and Fabregas wouldnβt touch it with a barge pole
Di Zerbi and Luis would be interested
But you forgot Gary OβNeill
Thereβs always Harry and it would be a shorter drive for him
What are we waiting for?
Blocked and reported
Yes exactly
Yet again Fofana was at fault for some of our goals, especially the first and second
This guy should not be playing at this level. Heβs as poor as Badiashile with a similar injury record
#Chelsea
Why donβt managers (& our idiot Sporting Directors) understand they are not all mini Peps & canβt play this way unless they have a GK as brilliant with his feet as someone like Ederson?
Even then, Pep is clever enough to know that if you have a GK as brilliant as Donnarumma you change how you play
Add to that Roseniorβs tactics of playing out from the back which, last night they took to ridiculous levels even compared to Marescaβs time, and we were absolutely asking to get spanked by a PSG team with brilliant attacking talent
Last night is 100% on Rosenior
Sanchez is a very poor goalkeeper to be operating at this level ie upper half of the premier league / last 16 of the champions league, but if Rosenior thinks that Jorgensen is actually better then I am seriously worried about his judgement
