Understandably! We were robbed of a real measuring stick game, and not just by the refs. Ref ire belongs at the podium, not on the court.
Some were calling this a Finals preview. If it happens, and if the Celtics get to the line a fair amount, and don't have one of their stars thrown out by an idiotic ref, I'd like their chances.
Nobody is making that argument. Context matters.

No, you're right about the trend. I'm just saying this is not a good game to lump in with the others -- really only this game and maybe the DEN loss have reasonable explanations. They played SAS well even after losing JB right to the end.
This isn't a fair take given JB and PP.

THIS IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT. Last game between them, Spurs shot 20 FTs, Celtics 4. Tonight so far (late Q2) it's Spurs 12, Celtics 2. And now Jaylen gets tossed -- maybe he was sick of all the uncalled fouls SA has gotten away with.
It was Ford's smug reaction that set Brown off. He's consistently that way and it's why players can't stand him.

Brown should know better, and needs to leave before this turns into a suspension, but this was set off by Ford being a crappy ref.
I cannot believe they just threw Jaylen Brown out of this game. This league allows so much and he gets tossed in that spot. Absolutely horrible officiating.
