"on the small screen" seems like an outdated term now. TVs are cheap and massive, and most of us probably watch movies at home.

My local take-away website only has a simple session cookie, and a cookie to store my cookie consent preferences.
I personally would take surveys like this with a grain of salt. YouGov uses a non-random, opt-in online panel. So the results could very easily be bias towards people who are unhappy. Also, 1,752 people is about 0.0033% of the UK adult population.

I recommend never connecting a modern TV to the internet. Use an Apple TV, Fire Stick, or Games Console. Keep the TV as a dumb display.
