I hate making plans with chronically late people 🥲 I left the house late knowing my friend will be late and I'm still going to get to where we're meeting 30 mins before her 🙄

She's never been good at pressure and release. Idk who traumatized her but the second she feels trapped she won't stop panicking and pulling back until she gets free.

She's a little girthy and I'll always just hold my hand up at her face while tightening it but this time she flung he head up really high & the second she felt the pressure of the cross ties she lost it. She's always been better with cross ties that have a back but I guess it doesn't matter anymore

Iris can be stubborn to load sometimes but she walked right on today! I think she likes the new trailer 🥰

From both cross ties. Then my niece stopped her from running down the aisle, I grabbed her lead rope & put it around her face & she flew backwards against a stall, tripped over a stack of muck tubs, & I had to grab her saddle off and get her into a stall to calm down. Somehow no injuries, thankfully

But anyway. She threw herself backwards against the wall, thank GOD I had the halter unclipped for brushing her face, because it wouldn't break & idk what would've happened. She slipped out of it, fell against the side wall, luckily the western saddle didn't get caught on the halter still hanging

Iris set back so bad on the cross ties last night. If you're looking for a halter that's indestructible, get the Lemieux vogue halter. It won't break no matter what. This is the second one she's had & it won't break when they set back, so I'll no longer be using them unfortunately cuz they're cute.

Happy 21st birthday Poco. She's the first horse I got as a teen and had just turned 3. She's not mine anymore, but I still remember her birthday every year 💜 crazy she's 21. That makes me feel so old. She's the best horse I've owned next to Iris. How she's changed over the years

I bought these fake wood waterproof foam mats to put in the floor of the dressing room in my trailer so it's not carpet. If I just had one more square to cut in half it would perfectly fit but I'm literally just one square short and that's so annoying

My mom painted this with water color. She said she still has some touch ups to do but damn, I wish I could paint like that.

Ok it's official!! I bought a new trailer. Upgraded from a small 2 horse stock trailer to this nice Gore 2 horse with a dressing room!! This is exactly what I've been wanting and finally found one at a price I could afford! I'll post a walk through video once I clean it up

I had the dentist look at Ivy's teeth. After telling him about her & showing him pics of her teeth from Dec he thinks she's almost 3.5. She still has her specific baby teeth that when they fall out she'll be 3.5 & said she'll probably lose those within the next few months. (102, 202, 402 and 302)

Ignore her mouth, she's still getting used to the bit and just chomps on it, but I got a freedom bridle for Ivy and it fits! She actually really likes it and it looks so good on her.
