Iβve been really enjoying my cor-, wait no pebble watch. The community watch faces are snazzy and making one yourself is fun.
Which watchface is that?

Iβve been meaning to check out Guild Wars Reforged but I donβt really have the time to sink into GW to really get the most out of it.
I might try during the post-Christmas pre-New Years limbo.
This list isnβt a conclusive list of my favourite games of 2025 but itβs more of a list of games that I feel more people should play.
Highlights for games newly released in 2025 that I played include:
Many Nights A Whisper

Steam Replay for 2025. I have played 80 games with 74 of them being new games.
80 games played this year. With 74 new ones. Thatβs pretty good!
It reads to me like a way to cut malicious/spam comments.
Most bots will already be removed before they are old enough and outrage tourists will have moved onto the next thing.
Valveβs work on FEX is great for the Linux ecosystem.
Getting more features on Linux for ARM, even if itβs through an emulation layer, will really push the year of Linux.
Small but chonky looking.
Im hoping this starts a serious trend into small form factor PCs. Current options are too expensive and donβt quite hit the performance mark for me.

The new Steam machine looks amazing. Might be the best small form factor PC that can go up against the Mac Mini.
i'm never working with the japanese again bro
The Japanese distributor for the Steam Deck, Komodo, changed their website for the new release and people found some exposed urls.

A Jeopardy answer saying No: A.I. Generated the TikTok image of this pig/human eventually killed by Tim Cheese
I just found out that this was a recent Jeopardy answer.
Yes, Iβm just as confused as you.
Sucks to hear that Hytale shut down. I thought they were quietly plugging away at the game. Hytale will go down as a testament to bad project management and ambitious scope creep.

Whoops yeah, investigated a bit closer. The Reddit post was talking about split screen multiplayer. Which makes more sense.

I heard that the free roam is single player only, is that true? I wanted to drive around with friends and sightsee.

Just completed todayβs Binary Wordle. Talk about a tough one!
Something I didn't see people mention this week: Microsoft open-sourced a Rust remake of MS-DOS Editor.
Iβve been trying it and itβs kind of fun? Pretty intuitive and no esoteric key combo to do anything.
Itβs on the simpler side, but for basic edits, it does the job.

Happy 30th Java! π₯³
Hereβs to another 30 more.

First and foremost, maybe make the command, wsl --unregister, that lets you nuke your entire Subsystem a little harder to use?

Just heard that Microsoft made WSL open source. Which I gotta say is pretty neat stuff.
I just wonder if someone will get around to fixing all the little nits about WSL.
Itβs only Tuesday but my week has already been made! PEBBLE IS BACKπππ

I just got served this video about Legos and somehow they figured out a more demeaning way to describe Millenials: kidults.
At that point just call them Millennials.

Great article by Constance Grady trying to uncover the origin of the stat that women account for 80% of fiction sales.
Itβs interesting and somewhat scary that these bogus stats are used to judge people and influence policy.
