this is actually really cool
We didn't ruin the economy.
We didn't get you laid off.
We didn't replace you with AI.
We didn't raise gas prices.
We didn't foreclose your home.
We didn't cause your divorce.
We didn't get your kid snatched by ICE.
We aren't in the Epstein files.
Leave us the fuck alone.
On occasion
But I hope in your case those feelings turn out to be the opposite of the truth -- that you're not in trouble and everyone's super proud of you
Even if you did legitimately make a mistake I'm sure you did the best you could, and things happen anyway
If the Rem I fucked over last night by sealing them in with a Wolf!Silver is reading this, I want you to know that I am deeply sorry

Everyone who tried to draw around me and started drawing LOVED it at the beginning because of their QUICK IMPROVEMENT. Then quit when they hit The Wall™️.
But it's when you hit The Wall™️ that you NEED to push through with practice!! And you gotta do it for yourself, because it's ALWAYS worth it! 😤

Seconding Jekyll, I use it for my blog as well (even if I haven't for a while because of silly brain things). It's a lot of fun.
and like okay, that doesn't mean bluesky isn't better, the bar's in hell, but... *sigh*
"get off Twitter, bluesky's better"
bluesky: *all this*
I think it’s a little insulting to refer to the user base as conspiracy-brained when Bluesky has been very frequently caught banning users for no good reason all the while fumbling the most basic aspects of social media.
We all saw what happened to Link.

Over the past year, every single time one of the apps or services I use suddenly became less reliable and more buggy, I never have to look far for the "Claude is amazing and now writes most of my code" post for the devs involved.
Wait
@vivziepop.bsky.social but why does Clean It Up actually work so well as a cleaning song tho

DO NOT VOTE FOR RAJA
As part of an AI committee at my university, I spent this weekend trying out Claude (Opus 4.6) for writing, and I have to say, far beyond its hallucinations and the usual complaints, it is a baffling experience cognitively. I want to be more precise in my evaluation here than I usually am about AI.

AI-generated work _cannot be copyrighted_; the Supreme Court's refusal to hear a case has, at least for now, put a nail in that coffin. www.engadget.com/ai/the-supre...
I mean, there wasn't a bipartisan-perceived national tragedy immediately preceding this one, either, and I feel like that might be A Factor

@clppng.bsky.social how in the hell did you come up with "asbestos is best before breakfast" and why can't I find it on any search engine except for "Change the Channel" 😂
“Lower headcount”? These are people lives, you fucking monsters. Rot in hell with the shitty world you helped facilitate. Can’t wait to hear the thinkpiece titled “I used to sell AI garbage that destroyed people’s livelihoods, then AI took my livelihood. I am sad.” Take me off your list, psycho. Over here having a very normal one.
(Seriously, fuck these companies though.)
Republicans and conservatives are one step closer to their dream of transgender genocide. One day, it will be illegal for us to be in public. Then, they'll abduct us into camps. We know the playbook. It's right there and they're checking off each step neatly and loudly.

Because of the National driver register, since their licenses are suspended, trans folks cannot move to another state and get a new license until they remove the suspension on their existing Kansas license.
They can't even escape this by moving to another state.
An official letter from the Kansas Division of Vehicles dated February 23, 2026, with a redacted recipient address. The letter notifies the recipient that due to the enactment of Senate Bill 244, all Kansas driver's licenses and IDs must reflect the holder's sex at birth. It states that the recipient's current credential will become invalid immediately upon the law's publication on February 26, 2026, with no grace period. The recipient is directed to surrender their current ID to receive a new one matching their sex assigned at birth. The document concludes with instructions on how to appeal the notice if received in error, along with contact information for the department.
Kansas is sending letters to trans people telling them that their licenses will be revoked as of tomorrow and that they risk arrest for driving on a suspended license.
This is pure cruelty.

As of tonight, licenses of trans people across Kansas are being invalidated en masse, enabling the overnight criminalization of an entire group of people for going about our lives. It’s often said you never know when you’re living through history, so let me assure you: that’s what’s happening now.
It’s not just Medicaid funding they’re withholding to MN. It’s food assistance, child care assistance, social services, job training, safety testing, public health, disaster relief. SNAP. Free lunch for kids in school.
They hate us for loving our neighbors, and are collectively punishing us for it.
