Since you bought the yarn first, you need to determine your gauge using that yarn. Make a gauge swatch in pattern. The cat ear beanie is very simple and hackable but you want it to fit.

Sometimes we need to have hobbies outside of the home. Yarn stores are good places to go learn without distraction. One you have confidence in your knitting/crocheting, you can work on boundaries with you pets. 😉

Yesterday, Jan 1, I made my first batch of ricotta. Stirring a pot for 30 minutes is not my favorite thing to do, but I’m excited about learning another post-apocalyptic life skill. So much whey!
