You're forgetting a bunch of tedious other stuff! Every store has its own submission rules and red tape and assets to generate and forms to fill in. That's what takes the time.
Yeah. It's just finding the time. So much to do and not enough volunteers.
We just released version 0.4 on Steam and Meta stores. Greatly improved performance - especially on Quest. Post-processing restored to PC VR. Next release will focus on new features!

It's very cool and expands the features of Open Brush in a lot of interesting ways. We just want to get multiplayer officially released before we hit you all with this :-)

Can I just reiterate that Oculus Medium, Google Blocks, and Gravity Sketch VR are the best 3D modelling tools I have ever encountered?
In 2018 I was learning blender and one of the 1st thing I made was this low poly Metal Gear mk. II from #Snatcher! It was sculpted in VR using Google Blocks which is still free and available on Steam. I just did the camera and lighting in #Blender. #lowpoly @hideokojimaen.bsky.kojimaproductions.jp
