Yes, GE soundtrack definitely worked for me, too! Aguirre is a bit different ... shot in the seventies ... will suck you in with its opening shots if you're into that stuff.
Barbarian and Weapons producer sounds good, too. Watched Weapons for the third time last night and still loved it!
Just fyi, My Best Fiend is in large part about shooting Fitzcarraldo. Aguirre is just another film he made with Kinski, one of his best. Great synth soundtrack! Popol Vu iirc.
Watching this now and might get high tonight and watch it again. Always great to listen to his English as a fellow countryman. Have you watched My Best Fiend? If not, watch Fitzcarraldo first and Aguirre while you're at it. All mustwatches.
