I can also testify, not to charge lithium packs unattended. Unsure if it was the battery pack or cable actually caused the issue, but the smell was awful.
If his description is accurate, I hope the vape shop has good liability insurance, as that sounds like a very suspect electrical setup that appears to be the initial source of the fire.
"Helpfull" paser by may have inadvertantly caused the fire in Glasgow to be much worse, sees a small electrica fire, goes to a shop 2 doors down, grabs a WATER extinguiser (as seen from footage) and sprays the rack of chargers.

Also for these types of image, Google Streetview is your friend. This is the view (pre-fire) from the same (approx) angle as the AI image
