No mention of how cars are terrible for … everything and a solution to car accidents is less cars, not fucking with clocks
No mention of a capitalist system requiring people to drive to a place for no real reason for subsistence wages

TIL. I guess I’ve always voted early and then never found the time to do it last week.
For a long time Texas allowed you to vote at any location in your county. There wasn’t a ton of media coverage of it especially among people who don’t follow politics.
I’m sure it affected the GOP but they live in areas with plenty of polling places and didn’t have huge turnout.

There’s tons of examples but I’ll go Asimov’s short story “The last question”.
It explores the concepts of the technological singularity, a deterministic universe, and the idea that an infinite collection of minds would essentially become a god. It heavily influenced my writing #SFFChat
