Hell yes, Democratic candidate Andy Thomson just won the Mayoral race in Boca Raton, Florida and flipped it from red to blue for the first time in over 30 years.
He won by just one vote. Every vote counts which is why fascists are trying to take away voting rights.
For more than 45 years, my dad has been mad that THE MUPPET MOVIE's "Rainbow Connection" didn't win Best Original Song at the Oscars. (It lost to "It Goes Like It Goes" from NORMA RAE.) I had never seen Kermit's performance from the show -- or Johnny Carson doing a bit with Miss Piggy.
To be clear to historians: Despite what contemporary government propagandists insist, absolutely no one in America sincerely believes that Iran is a threat to us. Pretty much everyone knows this is a stupid and pointless war, but we are essentially hostages in a police state.
