Thanks for a great 39C3 everyone!

I'm not very impressed with the quality of @bsky.app's new privacy policy.

One section has been duplicated for no apparent reason.

The biggest issue is that all jurisdiction specific disclosures are under the section "US States". This includes the parts regarding EU/UK and Brazil.

Me and @nea.im spent over 2h in there today just going around, always spotting something new and interesting.

Diotronic in Barcelona is an amazing electronics store of a type you can't really find in many places. You want a coax connector of some kind? here's a shelf full of options. You want to terminate your own fiber optic cables? here's a bunch of things for that.

Go there if you get the chance to.

Original. I felt like it wouldn't be the true experience otherwise.

Not the most enjoyable boss fight. It was rather unclear what I had to do and very annoying if I was out of certain types of ammo.

Today I finally finished Half Life!

It was kinda neat but some big parts were rather tedious and I mostly just played it so I could play the half life games in order. The platforming was probably the most annoying aspect.

I don't know how it took me until today to realise that the English word "them" is closely related to the Swedish word "dem" which has the same meaning.

my favourite newspaper just arrived!

but that title is held by the same person who is the commission VP, so their full title is actually "High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission". that's over 100 characters...

one thing that amuses me about the EU is how bad they can be at coming up with short titles and names for agencies etc.

like the full title of what's essentially the EU minister of foreign affairs is "High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy"
