With NEET levels still a real challenge, events like these create access, confidence and opportunity where it’s needed most.

And at Bridgwater College, Young Somerset connected students with local businesses at their Careers Fair.
Huge thanks to all the employers who supported — and to the Coca-Cola Europacific Partners volunteers who help make this programme possible.
Two brilliant Building Connections events in February 💙
During National Apprenticeship Week, Brighter Futures for Children brought together young people in Reading — many NEET or at risk — for interactive workshops and employer sessions focused on real apprenticeship pathways.
Last week, we brought together policymakers, funders & youth orgs to explore insights from The UK Youth Fund: Thriving Minds.
The message was clear: invest in youth work, invest in young people.

We support local youth organisations across the UK to turn ideas into impact. Whether you’re running, walking, hosting or creating your own event, your fundraiser can help open doors for young people across the country.
Local action. National impact.
At UK Youth, we champion Own Place Fundraising — where individuals bring the cause into their communities:
✔ community walks
✔ school fundraisers
✔ quiz nights
✔ bake sales
✔ workplace challenges
Youth work gives young people safe spaces, trusted adults and opportunities to build confidence, resilience and belonging, yet many young people struggle without these supports.
Billy's story is a powerful example of how local action can create national impact. After experiencing firsthand the difference youth work made in his life, Billy is taking on a truly remarkable challenge: 7 marathons in 7 days — finishing with the Brighton Marathon, to raise funds for UK Youth. 🏃♂️💙
The difference? A youth worker in their corner.
