I really love seeing these in my feed. Unique artistic styles (that are also effective) are rare.
That's why I didn't buy it. I play games to relax. Really wish they hadn't removed turn-based combat.
oh, just saw the alt-text. Well then.
In Search of the Most Amazing Thing.. or some title to that effect. Loved it. Hey Smoke! Hey Smoke!

This goes here.
Of course when the next Republican president gets in, they'll just pardon them.
There's no longer such a thing as crime in this country if you're carrying out the dictator's will. All right-wing criminals are untouchable.

They eventually were defending, but I use maps to help the players visualize their surroundings even when just in an RP situation. So the map was mostly used for RP, oddly enough.
we've had so much fun with this set. It's one of my favorites. Goes great with the plains biome set with all the hill shadings.
By the dark and hairy ass of the lord of hell, Trump forgot to slap a 50% tariff on outer space! What an oversight.
If I opened a dispensary, I would call it Starbase 420. The house strain would be Wesley Kusher.
BIG money! BIG prizes! I LOVE it!

But whenever I complained, I was reminded of the hell of 1960s punch cards.
Could scare him even further with 80s IT trauma.. using single-sided 400k disks to backup a 100mb harddrive with a single floppy drive that alternately needs 1) the system disk, 2) the application disk, 3) and the destination data disk. The process took 5 hours of steady disk swapping.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show released on 4k blu-ray today. On a 50" screen, sitting close, it's almost like being back in the theater again (though we had to supply the audience lines).
i see you shiver, with antici
My Freshman college roommate and I both got the exact same Macintosh for our high school graduation. And we'd both bought Prince of Persia. We probably played that thing waaaaaay too much. Prince of Persia 2 was even more fun. Mac glory days.
Applesoft BASIC, because, why not?
even though I don't speak it, I've long felt Japanese is a more intelligent language. For example, there are no spelling bees in Japan. Since every symbol is a syllable, everything is spelled exactly as it sounds. I've never understood why only the far east has languages that use this style.
gotta have that 2000 FPS.
Assembled from dozens of screenshots in Photoshop, screenshots of Ultima V being emulated on an Apple 2 emulator (apple2win). In the center is Lord Blackthorn, surrounded by three Shadowlords. Above that room is the official shot of the party, with Lord British Himself reflected in the mirror.
While this dungeon doesn't technically exist in Ultima V (1988), it is in essence a collage of most of the dungeon rooms in the game, with a little combat flavoring added.

seriously tho, it's a fun game to play. Boring AF to watch, and like graveyards it belongs to a time when people didn't need to think about conserving land resources, but IMO it's fun to play. Miniature golf, too.
Yeah, I thought Middle Earth.
"Bandobras 'Bullroarer' Took, a large hobbit, charged into the goblin ranks, struck their king, Golfimbul, with a club, and knocked his head off. The head flew through the air and landed in a rabbit hole, which the hobbits then considered to be the first game of golf."
Space Quest (1986) 4k wallpaper composite image here of the first location you start out at. It's very graphic gory.

Me school you? Surprising! You could be a university professor in Photoshop.
The shadows _do_ have to be cut back a bit when you do that to make it look right; they overlap unconvincingly. So it's not a good technique for pure roll20'ers.
do not ask me to elaborate, but Tom Lehrer is music for people whose parents went to college
It was fun, funny, catchy, and educational. Not much in the world fits all that.
Have had a lot of fun with this set. You can get really tall cliffs by creating a new layer below the main, and shrinking the cliff elements. Then create another layer below _that_ that shrinks the elements even more. Absolutely realistic looking results.
