Yeah, at least I have more faith in Capcom putting out a decent Strider because it wouldn't be outsourced as much as Shinobi was.

I think they wanted to show off graffiti on the backgrounds more than Joe Mushashi with how zoomed out it was...

As for Strider, I do hope Capcom keeps a close eye on why Strider's such a fun tight platformer and doesn't make it a wannabe metroidvania.

You don't need a combo system for fighting. Enemies that die in one hit is fun!

Just stick to playing the older Shinobi games. The new game is so life-less and padded instead of that fun tightness of Shinobi 3.

Platformer games should never be more than a hour long.

Anywho, the new Ninja Gaiden game is pretty good. There's a few switch mechanics but it's not as tedious. Main character isn't 1 inch tall with all the focus on backgrounds.

Plus it's pixel art!

I wish the folks who allow these devs to make games based off well known IPs could look at these poorly executed games and pull the plug or ask them to actually play the original game and stop trying to make a "new spin" on it.

Also stop making games that take over 4 hours to beat.

And then there's... pushing blocks and hitting switches and I'm like- get that shit outta my Shinobi! There's only one direction I should be running in, it's to the right. No side paths, no in game map, no pushing blocks, just go right.

I'm so disappointed in the new Shinobi. In an action game like this, I want to see my sprite being big, not a tiny 2 inch tall Joe.
They tried to make metroidvania level designs and it's so much... filler. Showing off background art I don't care about.

I like some of the scents from Fable Beard Co but their hard leaning towards the edgy character designs is so offputting. I'll probably start looking around for a different company to buy beard oils and butters from soon... It's like, Axe advertising for beards.
