8 months ago or so, I rebuilt a 20 year old SaaS of mine. It took me a month of vibe coding and design etc.
Yesterday, I rebuilt it in half a day. Fully functional and arguably better than my hand-picked version. Mind blowing.

#buildinpublic
Maybe this is a weird take, but I feel like in 2026 search engines and preview generators should be able to properly parse JavaScript. Server-side rendering should be a thing of the past at this point.
Look, if you had one prompt.
One opportunity... to code everything you ever wanted in one moment
Would you launch it? or just let it sit?
#buildinpublic
Last night I started building and public and live blogging it on X. Fell asleep 3 entries in. Like a boss. ๐
Dang it. I side quested again. #buildinpublic #failinpublic
Love this
What do your business cards look like? I want to see some creativity! #buildinpublic
This is a great listen with real actionable advice.

What's everyone on #buildinpublic using for their SaaS billing solution? Is Chargebee worth it over Stripe?
I built my first website in 1993 and went professional in 1998. Never went to college and I've just been doing this the whole time. ๐
Yup. Best AI workflow for people who know how to code.
I would branch, create a second brand and market toward the adult market... With the appropriate payment processor requirements, of course. DM me if you want advice, I have exp in the space
Looks nice! I love the grid big. We used to do that a ton in the early 2000s and I've been waiting for that style to make a comeback. The blueprint motif is close enough ๐
That is dooope. Nice concept!
Car collecting? Do tell.
Not yet but I'm building a business management app for travel agencies and will eventually be dealing with these things.
Hell yeah. ๐ช
I already have a few in flight, and I just posted about them on my profile.
I just made a few posts on my page talking about my projects.
The final project I'm working on is called NurtureHub. It's a discovery platform for doulas, midwives, birthing centers, and anything else to do with the baby industry. Yes, my projects are all platforms. I kinda need a simple SaaS that solves a simple problem, but this is what I have for now.
The second project is called FuelEmpire, and this is a relaunch of something I initially launched in 2006. It is a platform for the car culture to communicate and share their passion. It's kind of a spoken hub model with many communities and a centralized network.

I've been asked what I'm working on. It's three different projects. First up is TravelBreeze.com. This platform lets travel agencies and advisors manage their business. It includes a CRM, planning, automations, sales, and reporting. I also own a travel agency with 35 agents to dogfood the platform.
In the world of AI, whats the future for identity? I don't mean authentication, I mean identity. Once AI gets better at solving captchas than us, there will be so many fake profiles on every site. How will we be able to prove a human is even a human, let alone "John Smith" specifically?
I made one as well. It was great until I stopped keeping it current in favor of a few minutes of code progress. I need to change. Dont be like me. ๐
My 9-5 contract suddenly ended, and the job market is a beast right now. Looks like #buildinpublic might be my biggest play in motion right now. *cracks knuckles* lets get at it.
Ugh yes. I even replatform or change auth providers to the shiny new toy because I don't want to have to migrate after launch. Plus what if I picked the wrong platform?? ๐
Anyone have any good prompts for optimizing next js? I've audited but I think I can go further. :D
#buildinpublic #devlog
I've decided to close X and #buildinpublic on BlueSky only. Honey, I'm home.
I think Mastodon is a fantastic tool but is really lacking community discovery. This seems to be an area that Bluesky has excelled and obviously X is pretty good at it as well given its centralized nature. But if Mastodon wants to survive and thrive it's going to need to adapt somehow.
Not doing it at the moment. I've favored a MySQL backend with an API layer, more of a traditional setup. I love the idea of rules being in the configuration, but in practice I've found it difficult to maintain by hand. Plus with an ORM, AI knows the traditional setup pretty well when I'm vibing.
