A screenshot from the TypeScript 5.9.3 Playground showing that calling navigation.addEventListener results in an error stating that navigation does not exist.
Before TypeScript 5.9, using the Navigation API required installing the DefinitelyTyped package.
With the updates for TypeScript 6.0, the master branch has been updated so that the Playground now references lib.dom.d.ts.
With TypeScript 6.0 moving toward keeping the DOM API definitions up to date, the type definitions for the Navigation API are now officially available in TypeScript 6.0 🥳
I hope this will encourage more client-side routing libraries to adopt the Navigation API 🙌

Before saying “we don’t need React,” how many people have seriously considered how much framework their web app should use in the first place?

I don’t want war and I’m against it, but deciding how every tool “should” be used? Yeah, I’m not signing up for that job.
People may think “AI being used for the military is unacceptable,” but if that’s the case, shouldn’t the computers powering it be judged the same way?
In this poster, I introduced a collection of accessible UI components implemented in React.
