Labour government's comms have been woeful, and they've got a lot of stuff just plain wrong. But also:

It’s wonderful to have a PM that’s right a lot of the time. And when he’s wrong he apologises.

That should be the minimum of what we expect. But we lost the benchmarks over the last 15 years.

Keir Starmer now is the benchmark. And no one matches up do they?

So. Four defeats, with only two draws among the six Premier League sides' R16 first leg results. Maybe Arsenal's away draw isn't bad at all given that context...

Just watching highlights. That Chelsea goalkeeper, Jorgensen, could get a gig at Spurs!

Good luck making up a song for him though.

LOOOOOOOOL CHELSEA HAVE FOUND A WORSE KEEPER THAN SANCHEZ

this jorgensen lad could do a job at spurs

So five English teams play away first in the CL.

Liverpool lose 1-0
Spurs lose 5-2
City lose 3-0
Chelsea lose 5-2

Only Arsenal go back home honours even.

Newcastle draw as well but they were at home and now have to go to the Nou Camp.

Guys and girls. Man City.

I think what we need now is the soul-destroying defeat. We all wanted them to get past Real to make their lives difficult in terms of fixtures. But now I think we need a prolonged hangover of sadness by being battered by Real.

I guess beating Madrid isn't for everyone is it?! πŸ‘€
Bodo are 2-0 up.

Noni has been excellent since coming on. He's been our best player

You never know what you're going to get from Madueke but fair play - he always finds ways to threaten. Nobody was close to doing anything like that burst between two defenders tonight, and that penalty was all his own work.

I don't understand why we're so content with playing slowly all the time.

I’m at every home game and many aways. Let me know.

Anyone still doubting Alvarez would fit in ?

10.03.2026 21:17 πŸ‘ 3 πŸ” 1 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

Julian Alvarez is brilliant though. Arsenal in the summer.... I can only dream.

10.03.2026 21:19 πŸ‘ 49 πŸ” 1 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

Julian Alvarez with two goals against Spurs? He's a gunner already....

No one is checking their phone harder than Harry Redknapp right now

So who’s next as Spurs manager? The kit man or the tea lady?

10.03.2026 20:35 πŸ‘ 3 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Nothing is Spursier than hooking your goalkeeper (who was only starting because your other goalkeeper is shit) after conceding three goals in 16 minutes.

The 5 Live phone in is usually an accurate barometer of the mood of the country.
Today's was overwhelming in support of the position adopted by Starmer.

Inter Milan sit 10 points clear at the top of the table in Serie A. They have scored 21 set piece goals with 15 of those coming from corner kicks. Wild how you don’t hear anything about how they’re ruining their league or any of the other nonsense.

About time we did the β€œSaudi boys” (their term, not mine) after a tough and unlucky couple of years. Last minute Gabriel winner - can’t beat it. We also finished off the night with an excellent ruby in Wetherby.

Cheers mate. It’s been a huge amount of fun, despite the motorway miles and the late nights. Favourite aways (my son and I were discussing this) Newcastle and Spurs.
