You never know what you're going to get from Madueke but fair play - he always finds ways to threaten. Nobody was close to doing anything like that burst between two defenders tonight, and that penalty was all his own work.

Today's was overwhelming in support of the position adopted by Starmer.

About time we did the “Saudi boys” (their term, not mine) after a tough and unlucky couple of years. Last minute Gabriel winner - can’t beat it. We also finished off the night with an excellent ruby in Wetherby.
