I’m just tired of feeling uncomfortable and not knowing what this lump is and I’m sick of being brushed off because I’m anxious. And I don’t want this to be something that will affect our timeline for trying to get pregnant.

So now I think I have a hernia next to my rib and I feel like no doctor has listened to me and brushed it off as muscle strain + anxiety (I have an actual lump that is not visible but I can feel it when I strain and it goes away when I lay down)

I had an appointment to see her on Thursday the 18th but we had a huge storm that closed everything and it got cancelled. So I rescheduled and was able to get one for today thanks to a cancellation. Guess what? My doctor is sick.

So my medical issues started around December 8th or 9th… went to the walk in on December 12, urgent care on December 13, called health links on December 14, went back to the walk in on December 15 (doctor laughed me out of the office). The walk in I went to is where my GP works, and I never saw her.

(On a serious note I’m finally seeing my actual GP on Tuesday)

We were watching jersey shore this morning and snooki was laying in bed after a night out clutching her stomach and chest “oh my god I have stomach pain… oh my heART! MY HEART. IM HAVING A HEART ATTACK!!! Oh I’m fine” and I lost it cuz that’s been me for the last 10 days

I was supposed to see my GP about the pain in my side (that had me convinced I was dying last weekend and I’ve since calmed down) and that appointment has been ✨CANCELLED✨ thanks to this fucking blizzard

They actually closed the city schools in Winnipeg because of this storm, that’s when you know it’s BAD

Learned some things - don’t Google shit. Sleep deprivation fucks you up. Advocate for yourself but you should still listen to doctors.

Been at the urgent care for 3 hours with no fucking answers but I just had a chest xray 👍

I’m not sure, hopefully? We can usually hear them stomping around on the roof and I haven’t heard anything but it’s possible i wasn’t around or was sleeping

I either have strained some muscle in my side or I have shingles and the rash is about to appear or I have gallbladder problems

I’ve been thinking a lot about how currency and money is manmade and anything is possible in the world, it’s just people saying “no give me money first” that is the problem. Greed has destroyed the world. Something being too expensive is a manmade issue.

Update: still no heat. I had a talk with Owen about puttin more pressure on our building manager/landlord, because he’s the one communicating with them (because he’s a man)

Yeah our thermostat says it’s 18 right now… our unit is also right by the staircase to the roof where they work on this stuff and I haven’t heard anyone coming in to work on it.

Building manager said we can get a space heater from the caretaker but it has to be plugged into the stove plug so we’d have to pull out our whole oven. I kinda wanna ask for a discount if it goes on longer but I don’t think Owen will be okay with us asking for that 😩

Im fucking cold. At what point do I tell them to fucking fix it, this is Winnipeg in December and it’s been over a week? Heat is included in our rent and we’re not getting any.

I’m trying to give the building manager some grace because he’s very responsive (but only Owen gets updates) and they’ve had people here almost every (week)day “working on it” but nothing has really changed.

So our heat has been not working properly since Monday last week, it’ll turn on for a minute (literally a minute) then shut off. The thermostat reads 18C Celsius but it feels colder. There is a provincial law that says that a landlord cannot allow it to go lower than 21C during the day.

I’m also terrified of putting my face out there esp being a plus size gal. I would mess with the lighting a lot but it’s scary
