There’s a moment in every transsexual’s transition when they realize that a large population of their fellow queers couldn’t care less about whether they have HRT access or not, or are even antagonistic to trans affirming care. Which is just a different way to put: β€œcare little for our deaths”

Not exactly all forms of oppression -- she never confronted Janice Raymond or Adrienne Rich about their transphobia, most likely because she agreed with them

LEMKIN INSTITUTE: Trans people are 4x as likely to be victims of violent crime, and have high rates of homelessness due to housing and employment discrimination.

U.S. court allows state bans on gender-affirming care for adults in unprecedented ruling While bans on trans youth’s care have been numerous in recent years, this is the first to restrict care for transgender adults.

NEWS: It was never about the children.

Transgender adults now face care restrictions after the ruling of the federal appeals court in Richmond, Virginia.

The absolute worst pattern of discourse I see on bluesky, and I see it at least once a week: two trans people are talking to each other and express their frustrations. Then a big-name cis progressive misreads it, puts them on blast, and the entire trans community on here has to deal with the fallout

12.03.2026 02:06 πŸ‘ 19 πŸ” 6 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

they/them'ing a she/her user **IS** just as much misgendering as he/him'ing her... and unless you did it maliciously it's just a mild faux pas, you apologize and move on

reasonable, right? so WHY do even some other trans ppl fucking shriek and fight into the dirt HOW WAS I TO KNOW??? YOU TRICKED ME

I still haven't actually spoken to anyone but I have an appointment next week, and I should at least wait to see if that goes poorly first.

I'm sorry for how I acted toward you in this conversation. I decided to exhaust every option that I could think of before coming back to you, and their automated calendar app worked when I used a different (Gmail) email address. You don't have to email them.

Does anyone know if there's an English language guide to using the PC-88 version of MUCOM88? If not, I'm slowly figuring it out and can write one.

Everyone deserves to transition, but I wouldn't expect an Aegis lackey to know that.

The only "Jessica" lena would talk about like that is me. I probably said something like "people without dysphoria have privilege over people with dysphoria" and you started vomiting in outrage.

If you want us to stop being picked off, you're going to have to name who you're talking about. Was she fighting alone?

There are MANY Japanese pronouns for "I/me", but we mostly just have "I/me", so a translation into English will naturally "flatten" everything down and lose all of the unique traits found in the original Japanese

This is just how translation is, so it's sometimes helpful to "re-inflate" the translation with those lost traits in some other way, otherwise the translation will be a shadow of the original, and the author's intent might not shine through fully

Translating "I / me" from English INTO Japanese is another obstacle that translators have to deal with, and while using "watashi" is the safe default, it leaves everything feeling clinical and "translation-ese" feeling, this is why it's helpful to give translators lots of extra info about characters rather than just throw a ton of .doc files at someone and saying "here, translate."

There's something seriously wrong with her. I don't necessarily hate people who are vindictive but she would be in a lot less drama if she didn't habitually take the side of abusers.

Looks like the president/founder of the org has only been in Oregon for less than 2 years, and they have changed names -- both the org and president have changed names, at least twice for the organization.

"Transtown" also refers to this same organization.

4) The links you are sharing -- givebutter.com/c/transtown, trfan.org, transrelocationfund.com -- all refer to one organization.

5) Werq Together is a 501(c)3 but there's no financial transparency, no charter, no tax documents publicly available. Their office address is a registered agent service.
