Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (@sidasweden.bsky.social) is expanding transparency in Swedenโs development cooperation.
A new policy requires organisations receiving Swedish aid to publish data to the IATI Standard, improving visibility across the development delivery chain.
IATI looks forward to working with the humanitarian community, including through the Grand Bargain process, to continue strengthening transparency and accountability across the global system.
Yemesrach highlighted how IATI can help improve visibility of delivery chains. When organisations publish structured data on activities, transactions and implementing partners through the IATI Standard, it is possible to better understand how resources reach local actors.
The panel brought together donors, UN agencies, and NGO networks to explore how the #humanitarian community can strengthen #transparency and #accountability for funding flows to local and national actors.
