If you mean something like a little dollar bottle of detergent that per unit costs five times what a jug would, that goes back to the Boots Theory. Now that shrinkflation and skimpflation have entered the arena, it's all the more maddening.
Hoping this is actually a good thing and not just McDonald's trying to rip us off with math. For example, currently on the 'buy one add one for a dollar' menu, you can get two McDoubles for like $5. So unless things are significantly less than $3, this is gonna suck.
