It's such a curious thing to always see journalists use the word kill in their writing when it's both more apt and evocative to call it what it is: murder.

(I love The Mitchells vs. The Machines, I just think it's cheap to eyeball another's style like that.)

I think the last one I tolerated was Coco, too. Soul had it's moments. I've just never been a big fan of taking a lead that's a potgm and immediately shoving them into an animal, and I'm also not equally impressed with the emulation of the art direction of The Mitchells vs. the Machines.

I keep hearing good things! I'll admit, I really dislike the look and feel of what I've seen, but I'm willing to give it a chance if the story's good!

Met him several times because I lived/worked in Fargo whilst he was governor. He always had a creepy, loser-filled miasma about him. Just a total chud.

The day he was ousted was one of infamy because he'd been such an incendiary, hostile jackass to everyone he disagreed with, being accusatory and posturing about what he believed to be moral while maintaining a persona of 'smol bean uwu transboy.'

His parents also bought his house for him and he was moderately well-off despite seeking mutual aid from his poverty stricken followers. For years, he'd been incendiary, saying stupid shit like it was ableist to assume authors would read the work of others, siccing his following on others, etc.

Mardoll was prominent on twitter pre 2022. One day, it was revealed that he had been working for Lockheed & Martin for 15 years as a Nepotism Hire (his parents were higher up.) He defended this choice as it was an ableism issue. 🙄

He had the terribly shit takes (I see that one is resurfacing right now, actually) and was the most embarrassing tenderqueer. Would often posture about what was moral and righteous.

Anyway, if someone ever likens you to Ana Mardoll, take it as a sign to change.
