How your email finds me.

I'm just glad to be at a point in my life now where the people I love and respect love and respect me back, with all my bruises, scars, stitches and patches, they know and respect my boundaries and communicate, they are genuine, they are my everything. I love my polycule so, so much.

I've been thinking about the past a lot lately, and come to realize that the common thread in all my failed relationships was having my patience pushed too much for others' convenience and at the expense of my happiness and comfort or both.

My patience may be plenty but it's not infinite.

I wouldn't go back and change any of the painful situations that brought me to today because if any of them changing would mean I wouldn't have met one of the wonderful people that make my days feel whole now, it wouldn't be worth it.

This is a very, very sad man who has just seen something that's made him forget his sadness.
