There really is a mental disturbance that comes from being in the hospital itself! I've had several relatives get back to normal after going home. Something about being unbalanced by illness + an unfamiliar environment? Fingers crossed that's what it is.
This is so funny oh my god. Can you imagine seeking out a podcast about fanfics and being offended - not by omegaverse or mpreg or catboys or oviposition or any of the other million fic things that are wild - but by "AFAB"
(it was someone I had interviewed for a job with the year before. Not great!!!!)
Every time that happens I am struck with how there is just no possible way to reply to that statement. I think the worst I ever got was "Oh you definitely look Jewish! But in an attractive way."
