Sometimes you need a pause from a project for things to come together...been stuck on a tricky plot issue for a few weeks/how to end the book and I just had a eureka moment, just a wee restructure needed! I also got asked if I could "donate" a detailed Scottish folklore essay for a publishing press for free this week...so yes, I am a bit more grumpier than usual about this!
Also, Dark Crescent has a bibliography at the end and I've published loads of articles on Scottish folklore! (I've put the research work in!)
If it's specific and based on something you've read, or seen me write about, sure, I'm really happy to chat and geek out about or answer questions like that!
Please don't use my contact form to ask me to do your book research for you on the *entirety of Scottish folklore*, without doing a basic search/looking at sources (including a whole book I wrote)...this has happened more than it should! I share stuff often, but I'm not a folklore search engine! π

I've been told my stories go across both, usually my SF in the more accessible/transparent, then I have gone more lyrical with folklore and horror...I'm not sure I consciously thought about it at the time, though!
