"Fine," Hugo knows when he's beaten, "just put them back in the boxes when you're done so I can return them--" "Return them??" Vivian isn't done yet. "These are super rare 'underground' limited editions! Think about the resale value!" Hugo rallies: "Vivian, we are not keeping these things in the house! What if Lycan sees them??" Vivian pounces, waving the Lycaon figure at him: "Why would Mr Lycaon ever come to our house? Are you planning to invite him?"

"If he's coming over can I invite my friend Lilac too? Oh, you know what, I'm sure Lilac would be happy to help us store these as long as we let her use them for drawing reference!" Vivian glows as she envisions Lilac's joy. "But now I'm curious... Why did you want a figure of Mr Lycaon in the first place?" Hugo folds his arms and bites his lip, the picture of regret.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in New Eridu, as Lycaon is also hate-searching Hugo on the Inter-knot while blow-drying his fur, he becomes one of the first people to see the preview of a Hugo nendoroid.

That unofficial 1/6 figure that comes with two different versions!" hugo, annoyed: "this isn't the one I ordered! Why does this stupid guy have so many different figures and how do you know so much about them?" vivian, sagely: "hugo, you have to do your research so you don't buy the wrong figure." As Vivian admires one of the Lycaon figures, Hugo peers in the other box, saying, "I don't get it, why are there two of them? Aren't they the same--"

"actually," hugo shuts his eyes, "I don't want to know--" "Oh," Vivian lifts the other figure out, delighted, "it's a shirtless version." Hugo, extremely flustered: "Vivian! Don't look! Put it back!" only for a defensive Vivian to clutch the figure, asking: "Why can't I look, Hugo? I'm an art appreciator. My intent is pure... What do YOU feel when you look at this beautiful figure of Mr Lycaon?" Hugo, defeated, mutters, "Can you not hold it like that..."

While I deeply appreciate the support from everyone I wanted to let you know that I have had a couple offers regarding covering expenses for a celebration of life.
