The sky is so often plain down here that I absolutely LOVE how Disneyland looks when there's sky texture.

The funny thing is a ton of the security cameras around Disneyland already do facial recognition
Also we saw Jon Favreau at Disneyland tonight and I saw that they finally replaced the sad beige scrim with the painted scrim on Main Street
I submitted myself for Live Facial Recognition Testing today at the entrance to DCA when I crossed over from Disneyland
Heard a rumor that Chapek getting fired was a cover they just moved him to be in charge of budget and finance for Disneyland and that kind of makes sense
Disneyland (or specifically DCA) #signagesunday
Of course. Food and Wine this year is more like $11 canapΓ©s
After seeing the portion sizes for the Food and Wine festival (courtesy of foodatdisneyland on instagram) Iβm calling it the fuckin Ramekin and Wine festival what the hell is with the miniature food #Disneyland

It seems hard to believe it wouldn't need repainting in the 41.5 years of Carnation Ice Cream Parlor's operation, but it does look very similar to 1955.

It's backlit, but you know what you're looking at.

Monetization of social media was a huge mistake imo.
So thatβs the fucker that ruined my ability to get a park reservation last minute whenever I wanted
Wait, did someone give up the park reservation/hotel reservation hack on the socials?? Is that why it finally got fixed last year??
Poor kitty. :(
I love figuring out poorly implemented systems! Wait until you hear about the Disney hotel reservation workaround that existed for 4.5 years.
Thatβs fuckin wild
Iβve been to Disneyland 820 times since August of 2021.
I also have a free app in the App Store and an album on Apple Music!
Enshittification is the name of the game for the spreadsheet people these days. Everyone is addicted to minmaxxing
Ah, well, I am only a Disneyland stan up in the skyline, but I will respect those who had to grow up with not-original-Disney-theme-park-created-and-enjoyed-by-Walt-Disney-himself
I never experienced it being that bad from 2017 through COVID?
Honestly this is truly the way.
I honestly don't recall having to go through that at all from 2017 through COVID, when I was a passholder. Eventually got "maxpass" add-on, but it never seemed to be an issue for me to get a fastpass. And even then, lines weren't as bad as they are now.
God I hate how much dominionists have managed to infiltrate government
Thinking about starting a business to rent out this one button for people to get into some interesting conversations at a Disney Park.

I would absolutely tell the story of fastpass to anyone who asked. The golden years of equality and freedom with a focus on guest experience, instead of the grind of monetization
