As a personal aside, I have been going to this theater for over 2 decades now and have deeply fond memories with it across my life. So it is an incredible honor to me to be part of its programming in anyway. I hope everyone continues to engage in the love of cinema they help to curate for us.

Happy to see Studio Khara decided to put up the Evangelion 30th Anniversary short. Don't know what I expected, but I'm glad it was light-hearted and gave something good for Asuka. Especially impressed how they emulated the original '90s anime style at times.

Yes. I read Megumi Hayashibara's book where she gets nostalgic about this. But I think it's gotten back to group recording sessions there. As a voice actor, I would love to do this.

I wasn't expecting the newest episode of Shiboyugi to be themed around an old Japanese children's story by Kenji Miyazawa called The Nighthawk Star. I had the pleasure of narrating a book of his short stories a couple years ago so I was excited that I could recognize what they were doing here.

Clicking on 'Show adult content' on BlueSky with no context given is the new FiftyFifty from reddit: is it going to be photos of the women's gymnastics team from the Olympics? Or is it spicy furry art? The filters are really playing it safe.

It's all over now but the crying 😭.
