A bunny has a slice of banoffee pie, on a table in the summer. Empty banana peels are beside them on the table
Daily bunny no.3258 ready for dessert
Now, if only the chipmunks don't steal all the squash/zucchini seeds this year! ;)
...4'x4' is also (roughly) what my dad's done for decades w/ his tomato/pepper raised beds.
Actually, I'm moving his tomatoes & peppers into part of the new garden this year so I can tear down/rebuild his raised beds for him.

Yup, I'm familiar with Square Foot Gardening. My dad picked up one of those books back in the 80s and tried it on and off :)
Basically I'm working with 4'x4' blocks since that's what I wound up doing last year when doing a Three Sisters type setup

Hey @buddygoodboy.com ...
Oh god this made me laugh so hard. Watch til the end.
Some guy saying it's a "plot hole" in the new Superman movie that the billionaire lets the woman he's dating into his super secret evil lair to photograph his top secret evil plan and post it on Instagram, and I'm like dude have you SEEN a billionaire? They are 100% stupid enough to let this happen.
Basically it's a banana-pineapple-pecan cake with a sort of carrot cake texture to it :)
Made my dad a Hummingbird Cake for his birthday (though with a much lower sugar cream cheese frosting)
And as king, you could set up principalities!
King Grimmy the First!
Yeah! I thought I'd heard it was being discontinued, then spotted it as I was walking out of the grocery store the other day! :)
I'm at 71/49 and "Windy" tomorrow (hopefully nowhere near as bad as yesterday) then 49/21 on Monday with rain leading into snow, warming back up late in the week...
Hoping to get some digging done on the new garden section tomorrow
(currently staking out the other side of the pavers in a mirror to that side from last year)
...1' between each pair of white flags there because this is how my mind works in organizing the garden into grids....

At this point, I'm going off Old Farmers Almanac and Burpee estimates for average last frost date (Botanical Interests seems to be an outlier)...
Which means I have onion seed trays growing indoors that are about to be joined by tomato, pepper, & basil seeds as I stake out & prep the garden

Our current status: "Today it's 70F! Tomorrow it's 32F and snowing! The next day it's 65F and sunny! 45F and rain! 72F with 45mph winds! 29F! 60F! 30F! 32F! BINGO!"
Nevertheless, a few things to keep in mind for new gardeners:
Just because they sell it at the garden center DOES NOT mean itβs safe to plant it now.
The big-box garden center does not care once the plant is out of their hands. If it freezes, itβs not their problem.
Spring is springing in many parts of the world, and soon it will be time once again for That Plant Label Is Not To Be Trusted, with your host, me!
However it has not yet sprung in my part of the world, even though we are firmly in Foolβs Spring, so I do not have a full episode for you.
Because I had to find out this was a thing, now so do you

You're supposed to eat it one slice at a time, Cairo.
Not fold it up and try to consume the entire thing at once!
(Seriously tho, hope you feel better soon!)
Have they even considered stopping up the crew's ears with wax and lashing the captain to the tanker's mast so Iranian mines can't lure the tanker to its doom?
Re the Hormuz, not saying I'm an expert on the sitch, but are we really too proud to try historically vetted measures like sacrificing a high ranking member of the royal family to propitiate the sea god
Mess with the Bun, you get the gun
It's either Grauben's owner's mansion or the Overlook Hotel, but either way I'm happy with it so far.
Happy birthday!
