Voor het eerst in kaart: sinds 2010 stierven zeker 120 mensen bij of na een politie-interventie in België | VRT NWS Nieuws Er zijn de voorbije 16 jaar zeker 120 mensen overleden bij of kort na een politie-interventie in België. Dat blijkt uit een onderzoek van Knack, Le Vif, De Tijd en L'Echo. Bijna de helft van de slachtoffers overleed ter plaatse of tijdens de arrestatie. 6 slachtoffers waren minderjarig. Het is de eerste keer dat de cijfers in kaart zijn gebracht. Al is het wellicht nog een onderschatting.
