Trump has been elected twice saying the most deranged and politically volatile things. And yet the left in the UK is so afraid of/vocally criticised for saying sensible, good for everyone things. Can’t fathom it. Keep saying out loud what you believe in. It might get you elected.
I'd go further by saying only effective on limited scales.

I keep dreaming I can do this, just swim into the air, though sometimes I get horrendously high, and it all goes horribly wrong. Fortunately there's a duvet and a mattress to crash down onto.
