WOWEE, been a minute! The latest playmat that I’ve designed featuring Vortexdramon, the latest reveal from the Digimon Liberator comic! Probably also my favorite design of the new Level 7s.

I completely agree! I’m happy to see him also getting his own new figures, which have bern awfully tempting, although I wouldn’t have much space for them!

I also think that living in a time where the old films have finally garnered the respect they deserve alongside getting two cakes from both Toho and the MonsterVerse, I’ve grown very forgiving of such missteps of the past and I’m happy to see others having similar sentiments.

It has a strong first act that feels very similar to the original, but it does lose a lot of that steam as it progresses before it becomes a derivative Jurassic Park sequence. But I still enjoy it and the 98 design has grown on me.

I’ve lately been thinking about how my opinion of Godzilla 1998 has softened so much over the years. I don’t really see it as an abomination anymore, but a rather misguided and misunderstood moment of the characters history. And I don’t even think the movie is all that bad.

100%. I feel like the original monsters feel like they’re from a completely different franchise and don’t really fit. Like you said, serviceable, but not much more than that.

I feel like I’d be more into Monarch Legacy of Monsters if we got more Toho monsters. A majority of the original monsters they cook up just don’t feel interesting to me.

I love the FromSoft games so much, but Bloodborne is the only one that I do an annual replay for, because I just love it that much. Miyazaki delivered the goods!

Most fun boss in the game for me and one of the absolute best transitions from phase one to phase two!

Finally decided to start catching up with Digimon Beatbreak and I am LOVING this show. And the dub they have going on is fantastic on top of that! Hope more people give it a watch!
