ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives.

Alex Pretti wasn’t a part of “engineered chaos.” He was a nurse who cared about people. An individual. What is “engineered chaos” is what this admin is doing in blue cities to justify invocation of the insurrection act.

“Shot dead” is passive. “murdered” names the actor. Words matter, especially when the state is pulling the trigger.

When Black people were murdered by cops, the victims were vilified. To many, it was a "Black problem". In less than 2 weeks, Law enforcement murdered 2 White U.S citizens. They too were vilified.
