I used to think 30 open PRs on the work repo was a lot of open PRs. Then I got this job and there's around 200 open PRs.
I mean the engineering team is 4x the size of other teams I've been on, so there's that, probably has something to do with it.
I don't even want to start to tell you how long this took to figure out.
But look ma I have two instances running!

in the first post, this person went to ireland and was “trying to escape from all the craziness at home for a bit”, and at a pub they asked if she was american and who she voted for. which of course she didn’t want to tell on herself.
girl, who helped cause all that craziness at home? you did.
i did not vote for this illegal war, i did not vote for this president, i do not like green eggs and ham.
every republican president in my lifetime has gotten us into a war and/or recession.
if americans as a whole didn’t have such a goldfish memory we could’ve had flying cars by now.
nothing warms my insides as much as seeing crying maga people on tiktok complaining that other countries aren’t being nice to them when they won’t tell who they voted for when out of the US.
i have never once been uncomfortable telling someone who I voted for. funny how that works.
gas was 2.14 a gallon here a few weeks ago. it is now 3.49 a gallon.

onboarding to my new job today, most comprehensive onboarding process i’ve seen. it’s really well thought out.
also found them, it’s all spam lol
i spoke too soon, it took 30 minutes to taxi + takeoff out of denver, rip to that early arrival time.
sometimes when i fly United they’re on the ball, and other times they drop it, kick it and have to find it under the couch.
today they’ve been on the ball though. that’s nice!

pretty neat! walks the code to generate code chunks with syntax trees, then uses that + vectors / embeddings to surface info to the LLM model for summarization.
