Herman Dune was ace last night. The venue was odd, though (but the staff were lovely).

Today I drive to Weston-super-mare. Tomorrow it’s Totnes, then south London ‘burbs via a pit stop in Bristol.

Today I'm being paid to read. Hurrah.

Unfortunately, I'm being paid to read word salad guff from the professional services world. They're "transforming lives" with "experience-led change" done "with purpose" to "shape better futures".

They clarify none of the above with actual evidence.

Obviously, with The Felt Tips release late last year, I spent a lot of time in and around Glasgow. Driving through it, walking around it. It's a great city, overlooked in the way Birmingham often is. It's so sad to see the destruction from the fire. Really glad no one was hurt, though.

I love this album. Didn’t get it on vinyl because money is tight. Felt okay about that until I realised that it’s actually a beautiful collection of music and if I had never heard Autechre I’d still love it. I’ll see how flush I am in April and hope it doesn’t sell out.

Sadly closed on Sundays. Haven’t been down that way for ages but will pop back on a Saturday at some point soon.

Worthing beach, on the south coast of the UK. The tide is coming in. There are groynes and a small jetty or pier on the right of the picture. The sky is grey. There is fog in the distance. The beach is shingle. It’s cold and windy. Trust me, I was there.

Home now and playing The Cords.

Been out all day. Went to a few seaside resorts on the south coast. Cold wind but good to see the sea. Very, very tired though.

Charity shops had very little vinyl and what they was bonkers prices. Also, very few books.

That said, a shop called Inspired in Worthing made the trip *ahem* worth it.

No, sometimes I do like to be nice and helpful. Rare, but it happens. Now you have proof.

I was tempted to reply with something outlandish and mildly rude, but again, losing your eyesight isn’t funny.

There’s a record fair in Carshalton today. It’s about 30 mins on a train to the venue from London Victoria, or you can get there on the Thameslink. Or bus. Or hitch. Or walk. Or drive your car. You should definitely go. And grab a pint in The Hope. @heykidsshop.bsky.social made a poster.
