The sky just after sunrise
Morning birdsong is the possible, showing me that music reigns in nature. The horizon is a portrait of what could be through the prism of my daydreams. I reach for it with the innocence of a child seeking a pretty marble on a woven rug. The compulsion to soar on the beams of beloved Sol. I linger.
It is a potent thing. Watching lightning carve up the sky.
This is my soul dwelling place. Sunlight splashed metal roofs in greens and blues. The aroma of last year's fallen leaves still decaying after the thaw. Spring near and half chilly grass on my bare feet. Grinning without it registering on my awareness, ancestral muscle memory. Pagan kisses gifted.
