I think people aren't playing enough card draw if they think it's <5 because it's still a 3cmc rock that taps for 2. Non-green decks don't have much access to that.

Used to be an 8 almost a 9 now it's like a 6 in the average deck. With average CMC and final turn numbers shrinking there's only so much room for 3 mana rock that can't even cast a spell the turn it's played.

Idk, selling a novice card gamer on a mechanic that at a baseline translates to shuffling cards into your deck that when played replace themselves with the card below them seems tough.

I've tried leaning into the Osty cards and Doom cards but Souls still end up being the strongest thing going on. Idk how you'd even go about changing them from a game design perspective. Best I can think of is having them play when you draw them but that causes other problems and isn't very fun.

Right clicking while dragging date has worked to deselect for me but it pushes the card off screen until you hover over where it should be which is odd

This feels really open ended but also like very few cards will mesh super well. The kinda deck you build and then only see like 1-2 cards a set that even make the maybeboard.
