‘Howl’ deals in humanity’s relationship with wolves - could we never forgive the ones who refused to join us, refused to silence their howl? 19/
At the end of 2019 we released what is still one of our most popular titles, the official graphic novel biography of everyone’s favorite Tyrannosaurus, @suethetrex.bsky.social in ‘SUE: Welcome to the World of Tyrannosaurus rex.’ 21/
Same! That’s why we made it!
Summer, ‘23, we fine-tuned Fight Night for the big stage; Stanley Field Hall(!!!!) as Ted helped Dr. O’Connor introduce Swimbo…er, *Sobek* the Spinosaurus, to the Field Museum!
Rextooth has been a wild ride for us and, if you’ll pardon the cliche, we’re just getting started! In 2025 we’ll have new titles from Ted, @doublebeam.bsky.social, @skinkpunch.bsky.social, Krystal Gonzalez, Jingmai O’Connor, and more! Thank you friends & followers, new & old! Onwards!

This little rex book has taken us on quite the tour, literally all over the country, and we’d like to thank everyone who has joined us at an event!
And that’s not all! There’s also the companion *to the companion* about Thomas, available only @nhmla.bsky.social.
‘T. REX’ includes all the blockbuster scenes from the film AND expands on the story.
‘T. REX’ the book is the official companion to ‘T. REX’ the film from Giant Screen Films - which Ted served as story consultant on.
We also published a little book, accompanying a little film, about a little-known dinosaur…
We started 2024 with the follow-up to ‘Mammoth is Mopey,’ ‘Tiger is Tangled,’ an all new alphabet of animals from Jennie & David Orr.
Happy New Year, y’all! Let’s wrap up this way-too-long recap thread!
We’ve since done versions of Fight Night - now ‘Prehistoric Fight Night’ - at museums across the country, with much more to come!
Sauropodophaganax. Just wanted to put that out there.
Next, we swam through the depths of time with everybody’s favorite Elasmobranchs in ‘Sharks: A 400 Million Year Journey’ (2018). 9/
Not the warmest welcome from SUE…
Never has a hadrosaur looked so beautiful!
Summer, ‘23, we fine-tuned Fight Night for the big stage; Stanley Field Hall(!!!!) as Ted helped Dr. O’Connor introduce Swimbo…er, *Sobek* the Spinosaurus, to the Field Museum!
Horns & Teeth premiered to a full house at the museum’s yearly Dinos & MOR event (if you can, make the trip!) and is now regularly screened throughout the spring/summer seasons.
‘The Tale of Horns & Teeth’ borrows its name from MOR’s Hall of Horns & Teeth and examines the the lives of T. rex and Triceratops in the Mesozoic, their legacy through modern science, and their legend in pop-culture.
In spring of 2023, we debuted Rextooth’s most ambitious project to date; ‘The Tale of Horns & Teeth’, a fully-animated, 22 minute film, created in partnership with @museumoftherockies.bsky.social, and narrated by curator of paleontology, Dr. John Scannella.
Fight Night gives the audience the rundown on the contenders, and then, with the help of a little time-travel shenanigans, gives the people what they came for!
Ted and Dr. O’Connor were joined in calling the fight by none other than National Geographic Explorer, Presidential Award for Excellence in Science-winning, impossibly handsome paleontologist from your favorite dinosaur documentaries, Dr. Paul Sereno!
…That was until a surprise third contender charged…er, waddled(?) into the ring!
This first edition of Fight Night featured the ultimate super-heavyweight bout; Tyrannosaurus rex versus the challenger, Giganotosaurus carolinii.
