Loaded was always a much more complicated beast than the clip show narrative had it. Have a listen…

That’s all good and well until you do shift work, knock off 11pm with colleagues and then can’t find anywhere near a well known broadcasters HQ to even get a quiet pint..

Astonishing story of a DAB radio service having its IP transmission stream hijacked by its own streaming vendor to broadcast obscenities instead of the radio output for *30* mins!

Seemingly, because of a contract dispute between the vendor & another mux provider!

Not sure they are crazy, perhaps more jaded towards a predominantly anti β€˜anything not right or centre’ media wanting their kill?

I supported putting a break in the Circle Line at Edgware Road. But they should've changed its name. With the break it's not a circle. It's wrong and it's still not too late to rename it. If they called it the Marigold Line they wouldn't even need to change the colour on the map.

Very sad to hear of the passing of John Virgo. He never aged for me behind the microphone as the voice of Snooker. An absolute great.

AI isn’t a catch word for all that’s bad. Machine Learning happens in all sorts of tools now to improve them.

Newsrooms have to develop and test verification technology in a world of deepfakes. It’s sadly needed in this age of potential digital arms races. Ok this is a mundane bridge - I can foresee total recreations of world leaders/trusted faces down the line. Broadcasters need authentication mechanisms.

It’s gone midnight and they are on a nightshift in a news room, I think this is a little unfair given they were verifying.

I think if I was in the McSweeney job I’d still have not put it in the manifesto, but I equally know how unequally a lot of the press uphold manifesto’s dependent upon the party, as well as, well, much else. (I can’t recall if Johnson’s 2019 manifesto made it past 3 pages of A4, v detail light.)

01.12.2025 23:44 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

I think to put it simply they’d have been radically better off without that manifesto pledge. Perhaps it was the same 1997 β€œno complacency” after 1992?
