I know for the blanket to be the right size that I need to just go back and deal with it…. But to have been doing it wrong for more than half is frustrating to say the least 🤪

If you spent weeks making a total of 80 granny squares….only to find out you’d forgotten a row on 59 of them…. Would you go back and remove the extra row from 21 of them??? or tough it out and go back to fix all 59 of them? 😭💀 #crochet

Guess I shouldn’t be shocked.

I actually think I might need to be using a bigger hook now because my stitches suddenly got much tighter even though they’re from the same size hook….

Everybody was just gonna let me crochet all these granny squares without letting me know what a game changer a good quality hook is?! 🥲 I went from using a cheap wooden hook I got at Walmart to using a clover brand hook and I am like 50% faster 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

I cannot believe how SMOOTH this is.

The first hour after getting up at 5am:
“This isn’t too bad. I actually feel fine!”
Second hour after getting up at 5am: “I’m gonna get so much done today! I feel energized.”
Third hour:
“Jk, I need a nap.”

The weather kept the parades from rolling today, so I did Mardi Gras in the game instead. First time I’m uploading a selfie mode pic for dreamsnaps but oh well!! I’m literally from Louisiana and it’s giving the best Mardi Gras vibes for me..

Someone just put their TEA cup in the MICROWAVE because SOMEONE didn’t refill the hot water dispenser like they were supposed to.

Decided to fiddle around with some yarn for fun without a pattern and ended up making my toddler a flower hat by accident #crochet

Can anyone else who plays #dreamlightvalley #DDLV share your dream snap submission for this week?! I’m so lost for inspiration for this week’s theme. I only have base game so I feel like I don’t have the furniture to do what first came to mind. 😩😩

This goes without saying, my quality of life is seriously on an up since removing facebook from my phone. I hate that I’ll eventually need to redownload it to use certain groups or things like marketplace. But I’m going to hold out as long as I can on that to make sure I’ve cut the cord.

Update: I had to unravel EVERY SINGLE ONE half way and redo them because I added one too many stitches in the beginning on every single one. There went my morning. Then I finished two more squares over the course of the day, between chores!

Do I feel a hyper fixation coming on? Followed by massive burnout? MAYBE! It did take me 10 years to finish -knitting- a baby blanket.

I do! They didn’t have a fabric section last time I was in there, but I know my region of the US is usually behind as far as updates go to store chains. Our targets all still have the old cart styles. Only one has a pavilion for pickup orders. Etc.

I do purchase DBP and similar or specialty things from online suppliers. But whenever I’d buy things from Joann, it’d be very much based on what it felt like. I can’t feel through a screen, and waiting for swatches from companies that offer them takes time I might not have 😢
